I have several pairs of hose that are nearly identical in color and design, but not quite. After wearing them mismatched a few times and blowing a lot of time sorting them out...again...I labeled them on the soles as "A", "B" and "C."
If I do mismatch them, I just make an effort to keep moving and stay in the shadows.
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.
