And Whidbey 78, I can honestly say that is the first time in my 52 years as a California native that I have ever heard anyone say that they hoped they were going to Barstow!

It's the assignment, not Barstow. Though Barstow doesn't suck as bad as 29 Palms!!!! Even the scorpions are bored up there! It does have the fortune of being driving distance from a lot of good stuff though.(LA, Vegas, SD, etc.)

And heck, if I wind up there I may have a friend down the road. The interweb is great!
