Ryan Ross bonnet for Tyger
Ryan Ross makes handknit felted Highland Bonnets that are sold in the Artisans Collection at the Scottish Tartans Musuem and Gift Shop.
I asked Ryan to make a bonnet for me, and I selected a yarn color from the Heather Collection that matches my eye color:

Ryan, as you can see, you did a swell job. Many thanks.
I am not the only detail person: women notice this kind of detail too, and I am going to appreciate that as much as anybody!

That IS a beauty. Ryan does some sweet work. I just wish I was more of a 'hat guy'. I'd love to have one from him in slate grey (stealing your idea to match my eyes ) or a dark loden green.
I applaud your decision to stay away from 'the bobble' as well.

Mark,
I never realized that you looked so much like Wilson from "Home Improvement." :-)

You do have a nicer hat, though....

Matt, that is exactly what HeathBar said in my thread about Christmas Bob! I sure take it as a compliment, as Wilson always seemed to be a patient introspective man who was generous in all ways, especially with his offerings of sage advice.
Well, now that you mention it.........Do you suppose Wilson had his hat made to echo his eye color too?

I'm glad your bonnet reached you safely, Mark. You wear it well! And a huge bravo on the color selection- spot on with your eye color.
.As soon as I can have a belt made, I'll be posting pics of the beautiful buckle that Mark crafted for me. I'm itching to wear it, and hoping that I'll be rigged to run in time for the Grandfather Games. It's a tall order, but stranger things have happened.
Thanks again, Mark.

LOL! I had forgotten about that. Great minds think alike. I think I do remember an episode where Wilson played the bagpipes.
Nice bonnet, too!
