You're all doing some great work. I may have to jump on this bandwagon...well, maybe I'll step on; jumping may be too much too soon. I'm not a big guy, but for me I've ballooned. Still, I figure I just need to lose about 15 lbs. It's not quite 10%, but like I said, I'm not a big guy. I think it's more about inches, especially around the waist. I think 3 months should be a good time frame for this one.

10 in 5
10 pounds of fat in 5 weeks
1 inch of chest, waist and hips
fat % down 3%
Last week I was on vacation. With some spluges, I continued to eat healthy. I drank more beer but exercised more which kept things in check.
I am pleased with the 3% loss of total fat percentage.
GOAL: 21 in 12

Late to the challenge, hope you don't mind if I join in.
As I hit mid-forties, everything has decided to arbitrarily increse - blood pressure, weight, LDL, etc, etc. I'm quite positive it had nothing to do with eating more and exercising less.
At 225, I'll aim to drop 10% by New Year. What the heck, call the goal an even 200.
One pound a week. Make my first kilt fit again.

well apparently I'm in on this one too now... just tried to get into my kilt (which admittedly hasnt been worn for a while)... not gonna happen...
IIRC I was a waist 34" and about 200lbs when it was made, so i'm guessing i'm going to have to lose at least 4 inches (about 40 lbs?)
well just weighed in at 234.6lbs... kilt waist is about 42"
short term fix just ordered from usakilts...

Well, Im back and better than ever!
Hey Rabble!
After about six-months of soul searching, living better and eating well I have found my way back to XMTS.
I went from 315 lbs to my in progress weight of 260 lbs. As you might imagine, now the kilts don't fit. Guess that mens I get to buy new kilts!
I will send my Kathy Lare kilt for an adjustment, but the rest of the UKs and Stillwaters have to move on.

Wow! That is an impressive weight drop! I'm new since you "wandered off" but am still happy to welcome you back.
My favorite kilt-maker is Kathy Lare -- which is real nice since she's local to me

Very nice! Now the REALLY hard yet worthwhile part...keeping it off! All the best, mate. I know how tough that can be.
