Greetings from Smokey Mountains of TN
Kilted while hicking or just a walking around the track, it great and refrushing to just relax from one who wears their kilt as offen as possible. Remember that the Gatlinburg Highland Games are now renamed as the Smokey Mountain Highland Games and will be held at Maryville College Campus in Maryville, TN in 2011 instead of Mills park in Gatlinburg.

I just hope it's not as muddy at Maryville as it was in Gatlinburg the last time I was there. ![Smile](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Never having been to the campus, is it suitable for the games? I.e., can you purchase ale and strong drink? Not that most folks I know would be bashful about bringing their own, but you need to know these things.
A flask is easy, but chilled brew is tricky to conceal. We had a lot of questions about the "authenticity" of the stapped-on cooler one time. We passed it off as a haggis carrier, but the Rubber Made logo and the bottle opener on the side almost did us in.

Wow, this is the first I've heard of the change. I've been going to the Gatlinburg Games for 13 years now. I think I may have a problem next year with my car automatically driving itself to Mills Park next May. Yikes! Are the dates going to remain the same?

Welcome aboard from across the mountain in western North Carolina, the greatest place on Earth.
Is there a river near the new Games site that can be diverted in case there's no rain?

When given a choice, most people will choose.
