Chicago Kilt Run
A friend just handed me a flyer for the 1st Annual Chicago Kilt Run which will be held in September. Here's the website. The race starts at 10 am. Anyone interested? Note the date has been changed to September 19th!

Oh, thank God, it's just a 5K...
...I'll be up for it but I'm still trying to get my wind back after that flu that I had back in June (it was that bad!). I see that the race organizers are providing the kilts (?!?) and that they mention that the runners will start the race kilted...if you're an Xmarkser, you'll be bringing your own kilt and starting and finishing in it, eh?

I don't think I could run the 5k, but I might bring my dog and walk it. I have to think carefully about which kilt to wear - depends on the weather.
