It is still ongoing, and whereas it isn't too bad where the stitching follows the grain, shaping the aprons is a struggle.

When it arrived it was obvious that it had been polished on one side by the pressing already done to it, - it must have been treated as wool, and the man made fibres do not like that at all.

I have cut it selvage to selvage so that the inside is now the right side, the polishing will be inside, and I am making a kilt from 20 ft of it, which I will wash and see how it looks then. If it is still stiff I can soften it by steaming, I hope.
