I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Terry - Congratulations!!!! As a G-Pa starting at the ripe old age of 44, enjoy the times you will have. But let me be the first to ask - have you order Koda's kilt yet??? And which tartan did you choose???

Congratulations - I hope that all goes well.
I have found that having a grandson is just great for catching up on all the things missed the first time around with the children.
Today I took my grandson to the beach in the morning, after lunch we played in the garden and then we ate chocolate before I gave him back to his dad. Such fun!!

Hey Hey! Congratulations! As a doting grandfather, I feel it's your obligation to fully kit (kilt) out the sprog as soon as he's capable of keeping himself upright ![Smile](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
As an aside, I'd better not be a grandfather at 47... that'd mean my son was a father at 14... ![Evil or Very Mad](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_evil.gif) ![Evil or Very Mad](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_evil.gif) ![Evil or Very Mad](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_evil.gif)

Congratulations. I first became a grandfather at 16 years ago (age 43). Someone once told me that grandkids are God's gift to us for not strangling our children when they so richly deserved it. Current, and hopefully final, count on grandkids stands at 11. One thing I can tell you from personal experience is that starting the job young means you get to do a lot more with the grandkids. Been having a grand time for the last 16 years. Welcome to the club.
All skill and effort is to no avail when an angel pees down your drones.
