You and Ann are in our thoughts and prayers.
"Before two notes of the theme were played, Colin knew it was Patrick Mor MacCrimmon's 'Lament for the Children'...Sad seven times--ah, Patrick MacCrimmon of the seven dead sons....'It's a hard tune, that', said old Angus. Here's to a speedy recovery. Best wishes to you both.
I agree with every letter of the wise words above and with what Macman has said and from fairly recent experience I know it to be oh so true.
Take good care of yourself Alex and best wishes to Ann.

Hi, Alex – you and Ann are certainly in my prayers.
Pneumonia often carries people off, especially when they are in a weakened state. It is good to know she is on the mend. But I do pray that she recovers fully from the stroke.
Spend all the time you can with her. But don’t let it tire you out. She needs you to be yourself, not an exhausted wreck.
Best regards,
Mike

Alex
Our thoughts and hopes are with you and Ann. Take care of yourself as well, it is too easy to have your own health impacted by the stress.
