I met Gavin several times when I was with Frey's. The man has forgotten more than I'll ever even remember about the war in the Mohawk Valley.
Indeed!
Are you by chance touring kilted, and will we get to see photos (rather your kilted or not)?

Sadly, I didn't come up kilted, though I did think about it. I need to get a canvas kilt that I can wear when it's hot, humid and dirty. I should have brought a kilt with me to wear in the evenings after tramping the countryside, but I didn't (shame on me!).

Great pix, Terry! I believe I see some familiar faces therein. I used to run with Selin's Ind. Co'y (Continental Line) for RevWar, and have been to events at all of the NY sites. The old "Burning of the Valley" event at Cherry Valley used to be a favorite, and Newtown, of course.
(BTW we have a mutual friend in Mr George Bray! You mentioned him in another thread....)

Thanks Brian.
Ah, then you no doubt ran into the 10th Co'y 1st Bn of the 84th (NY). They attended those events as well.

Missed these first time around, my apologies. Well worth a bump though. Some great images there, love the 18th/19th century timeline group photo. Cheers!
Edit: Oh yeah, and congrats on the 3,000.
