I couldn't guess as to its weight, but when I was a boy I once saw a beaver five feet long. I was glad that we didn't go near that branch of French Creek very often.
Then again, there's a 'silverback' woodchuck on my parents' property that's two feet tall. That is - when he sits upright, the top of his head is two feet off the ground. We nicknamed him "Sasquatch."
