Greetings, Rabble and SCHooligans!

I apologize for the long term absence, but life throws ya curveballs and my mentality is to chase them around wildly swinging the bat.

So to make life a little more exciting, I would like to see how many folks would be interested in attending the Lake Irvine Mud Fest on 16 October.

Yep, Mud Fest. That would be a 5k mud run followed by . . . BEERS!!!! int:

I have a sport kilt that I plan on running in . . . granted, with a group, we don't necessarily have to "run" but could have a muddy, kilted, crazy good time!

Sounds like a blast! I've got a mud run coming up in September, but because my company is paying for my registration, I'll probably forego wearing a kilt.

There are lots of these runs out there, and there's almost always someone in a kilt participating.

I hope you manage to get several of the rabble with you!!!

Was at a fest once, and the yokels were parking their horseless carriages in a great expanse of field...12 hours later, tractors, trucks, and mud. Great kilt weighs in at "too damn many" lbs when muddy.
