You've got it almost perfect. "fas" is pronounced 'faass". The 'H' isn't really a letter in the Gaelic but a punctuation mark meaning the previous letter is aspirated as a 'puff of air'. The reversed accent marks indicate that the letter is drawn out,or in musical terms, held for an extra beat.
