Time to get Married!

Congratulations, Dougald. This is a momentous step in your life.
After 34 years of marriage I can say that being married, and staying married, is something you need to work on, daily.
The excitement of the wedding, and the honeymoon, will pass. You will need to love your wife actively, and to express that love daily to her.
Frank wrote: “Just learn to say: ‘Yes, Dear.’ ” That will go a long way.
Separate blankets? We haven’t found the need for that.
And separate beds generally don’t work out.
May you and your bride live out your dreams today and tonight – and for the rest of your lives.
