Ohhh! That sounds like fun! Lets do it!
Yes it would be good to have kilted companions on the train ride. The train leaves from Lincoln at 11:00 and 13:00.
13:00 would probably suit me best as I am not sure yet of the logistics of finding my way from Loon Mountain Resort to the train station in downtown Lincoln.

Alex, since you seem to be a train buff, don't forget to look into the cog railroad up Mt. Washington, which is not far from where you'll be.. It's a spectacular ride.

Wish I was going this year with my dancers, but it is too close to another trip. If anyone is looking for a handmade custom kilt I believe Judy Sullivan and Patti Smith will have a booth at the games. I'm not sure where their booth will be, but if you are in the market for a kilt, be sure to look for them. They are both fabulous kilt makers.

I agree, to get to The Cog, it would be a 45 minute ride from Loon but well worth the trip!

There is a link on the Lincoln's Chamber of Commerce website www.lincolnwoodstock.com/business/index.php for transportation at www.theshuttleconnection.com but I can't check it out from work.

My husband and I will be making the trip down from Vermont back to our home state for the games! His father and brother will be in attendance as well. We booked a condo for the family this year so they don't have to drive from Southern NH every day and we don't have to camp. We had some cold nights a few years back!

I will be there all three days at the Clan Buchanan Tent. We are Honored Clan this year as well as hosting the International AGM for our Clan for the first time in New England.

NHHG are my favorite games and there is always a good showing for the Clan Buchanan, but this year we are expecting a tremendous turnout.

Look forward to seeing or meeting other XMarkers there.

I hope that Clan Buchanan can beat out the 64 we had last year from the MacNeil tent! (Last year's honoured clan). I will definitely be by during the games to see you, and any other X team that can come.

The MacNeil had a fine showing last year and I was very impressed with the singing and such from the Honored Clan Tent.

As we have sold out our Clan dinner on Saturday night at 119 people and I estimate another 200 or so in attendance at the games, I feel fairly confident we will make a good showing. To be honest, in a normal year we do a Clan picture on Saturday afternoon with about 50-60 people in it.

I know Steve C. has a good group coming for the Cunningham and we look forward to meeting our fellow Clansmen from the shores of Loch Lomond.
