Chicago Kilt Run - September 19th

I plan to be at the first annual Chicago Kilt Run- kilted but not running. 5943 N. Northwest Highway in Chicago. It's just a 3k race, but I plan to hang out at the bar that's sponsoring it. It's a benefit for the Chicago Police Chaplain's Ministry.

Interesting. It says that all participants will be given a kilt to wear for the race. I wonder who their supplier is. And if they'll be kind enough to tell people to put the pleats in rear

That's a fun idea. I wish they had one in my neck of the woods!

I'm curious as to what type of kilt they will be giving out for a $25 registration fee.
