TWO YEARS is NOT worth the wait

For the record kilt was ordered on 17th February 2009 and received on 14th September 2010. In fairness to the kiltmaker I think she underestimated how difficult it would be to create a kilt from this material.

The issue is, (and I've experienced this myself COUNTLESS times) that artists or artisans are frequently not businesspeople. They do their craft well, but are frequently out of touch with the business-side of things.

Successful is the craftsman who is also a good businessman... They are not so common.

I think you're spot on in this point.

The thing is, we are spoiled here on Xmarks by the number of fantastic artisans who produce brilliant quality goods, but who are also quite savvy business men and women. When we come accross someone who doesn't quite have the same understanding of business principles as the others we are used to, it's important to remember that not everyone was born with the knowledge others seem to have.
