Hello all I am John Elliott member of Clan Elliot USA and I found out about your forum through our VA Commissioner Bill Johnson. I have wanted a kilt for sometime and have finally purchased my 1st (a Heritage of Scotland) going to purchase Elliot Modern @ Meadow Games I have also purchased today The Book by J Charles Thompson "So You're Going To Wear The Kilt" As I have looked over this book in the past while at the VA Games - I hope to be more involved with my Clan Society as well as with X Marks The Scot so thanks for having me and I look forward to meeting members at the Games and other such activities

Welcome from northern PA. Be sure to get yourself a yellow "dandelion" for your bonnet, that's how we Xmarkers spot each other at festivals/games. While wandering along the clan tents, about 15 yards across the way from the Clan Elliot tent, at the VA Scottish Festival at Great Meadows, Sir William (Bill Johnson) grabbed his bonnet from the table and waved it at me to get my attention. So that's how we met before the "meet-up" time for the X marks photo op. Enjoy your kilted future.
