    1. I own 1, as of now. Standard Weathered MacKenzie tartan. I intend on buying more! Mine actually just got in today.

    2. Quality and price. Mostly the price. Seemed like a good "real" starter kilt.

    3. EVERYTHING. Running errands, general wandering about, church (it's a very relaxed church especially as far as dress code goes), hitting the pub... the list goes on. I refuse to wear pants anymore (except for the uniforms I MUST wear).

    1) Three standard, two in Nighstalker sett and one in Leatherneck.

    2) Combination of appearance, price, and traditional construction.

    3) Clothing.

The acrylic fabric looks and feels decent and I actually wear these more often than the woollies, as casual attire. They've seen a lot of use out hiking in the Marin Headlands, just across the Golden Gate Bridge from me. I wear them often around town, to restaurants/pubs/parties, etc. Oh, and of course at Bay Area Scottish/Celtic events. This pic (Leatherneck) is from a couple of weeks ago at the Pleasanton Highland Games:

3 1 Black Stewart Heavy, 1 Royal Stewart Standard, 1 Irish National Thrifty In that order.

    Price, quality, and customer service

The heavy winter was coming and I refused to go back to pants in the cold weather so I needed a heavier kilt for snow, The standard was a shrunk in the closet sale from another kiltie, and the thrifty was I needed something cheap to compete in the Highland games with.

They are all in good rotation though the thrifty is looking a little rough from training and competition. Will replace the thrifty before next season. Only complaint I have is the limited tartans for the heavies as I really prefer the wool now.

    I own three.

    1 Black economy
    1 Irish National Standard
1 Black Shadow tartan Heav tweight

    Why did I but them?

    Price and service.

    Where do I wear them.

I wear the Irish National and the black Heavyweight to some highland games, and around town on occasions. The black economy, I wear around my property much of the time, doing about anything from bush hogging the lower field to watching TV. I alternate it with a couple of Sportkilts.

If they were available in a 22" length, I'm sure I'd own a couple...!
