I see these for sale at Scottish events and Scots-related stores everywhere in my part of the world but I've never seen anybody actually wearing them, nor have I ever seen one being sold. Perhaps the lads at the local Games quietly surround such a person and walk them off the site?

I recommend the search function, up in the top right corner. The garment is called an Instakilt. The website is here:http://www.instakilt.com/.

If you search this forum for "Instakilt", you will find scores of threads in which they are mentioned, discussed, etc.

    Cheers!

They are in several catalogs, my wife got me one in green as it was the closest of the choices to my tartan. I have promised to wear it to and from the pool on any vacation we go on. I do use it almost daily in the bathroom also, although it is a bit too thin for my taste.

You'd be surprised at the number of people I've seen wearing these at various Scottish festivals.
