I like the Balmoral. It's a nice traditional piece of headwear, has nice proportions (well, most of them anyway), and just looks "right" with a kilt. The Glengarry always reminds me of military headwear or the old-style paper hats worn at fast-food restaurants.

Sadly, though, most people around here don't know what a Balmoral is. They tend to ask, "why are you wearing a beret with a fuzzy ball on it?"
