Goat Hair Sporran-Help
Greetings. I am looking for a new, goat hair sporran but can't seem to locate one. Does anyone have any idea where one might be found. I've searched the internet to no avail.
Thanks

Talk to this man:

He does phenomenal custom work and just might be able to help you, so long as you don't need it next week.
Other than that, I have no idea where to point you, as Sky Highland Outfitters is the only place I've seen selling them, and of late, they seem to be having some serious...issues.
But yes, if you want a truly amazing custom sporran, talk to the Artificer.

I would second that suggestion to contact Artificer with your needs. He has been investigating the use of goat hair and I can personally recommend him as a fantastic sporran maker. As Ross Ryan said, you won't get it next week but he is a man of integrity and will help you with the design and selection process and keep you well informed of the progress of your project

What Ryan said. I just received a goat hair sporran from this ebay seller the other week, his ebay store is calle Carse of Gowrie. He currently has three for sale. Here is a link to the one I like best of his offerings: http://cgi.ebay.com/KILT-DRESS-SPORR...item20b3ad693c
The price is not cheap. I bought a model with a different cantle than the link I provided, and decided when I got it to replace the cantle. While I didn't like the cantle, the sporran itself was great, and I thought it was worth the price. Just a suggestion. Hope that is of some help.

I'm unsure of what "Tibetan goat" is?
