Ordered my first wool kilt.
My first two kilts are SportKilts; one in Firefighter and the other in U.S. Navy tartans. I just ordered my first wool kilt from Stillwater in Black Watch. Now is the wait period.

Best of luck, hope you really enjoy it. You'll have a smile for a month when you don your first wool kilt Health to enjoy as they say.

Well, there's good news and then there's bad news.
The good news is that the StillWater arrived today. It is a beauty to behold and quite hefty as far as the difference between a PV kilt and a woolen kilt goes.
The bad news is that I have to send it back. Three tape measures mark me at 48" in this house, yet it seems that every time I order a kilt I have to go down to a smaller size.
So, in the morning, I get to contact them and go through the order process all over again.

It sounds like it took Jerry about nines hours to get the kilt to you. Shows how nice off-the-rack service can be, and the product sounds like a step above Sportkilts.

Jerry should have the process down pretty good so that you will have the correct size before the weekend.
Be sure to show us pics when you do get it, if you don't mind.

Ortzar: While I do not know about the time it took to ship, I do know that I ordered Sunday afternoon and it arrived with the post on Wednesday. The order confirmation was at about 4:00 PM Sunday and the "shipped" confirmation was at about 2:00 PM on Monday.
Fit2BKilted: Unfortunately, I have more to love than you, good Sir but if I might use your wonderful photo as an example, we are built quite similar with regard to our "kegs."
Darn that Southern, Irish/Scot woman that I married; if not for her cooking I'd be thinner (but just as ugly).

First, thankfully you ordered from Stillwater so you won't have long to wait. Even sending the one you got back and waiting for the replacement will probably take less time than most other places would take to get a kilt to you in the first time. Jerry's that fast.
Second, my opinion, it's always feels better to have a kilt that is too big, than one that's too small. Feels better on the ego.
Third, looking forward to your pictures!
