Always good to hear someone's on the mend. Diverticulitis can be ugly, so, WOO HOO. Stay with the back, while tough, they can be encouraged to mend, especially if one can avoid surgery.

I knew had the condition diverticulosis for a little while now, but it had never given me any trouble until now (fortunately it wasn't full-blown diverticulitis!). I received a lot of conflicting info at the hospital about it, but my doc (a very knowledgable chap) set the record straight on what I can /cannot eat.....basically anything, except popcorn....and guess what? I had a very large bowl of popcorn the night before this whole episode happened!

Yeah, the back...no surgery if I can help it!!!

I must admit, it's nice to know how missed one is/was, but I don't recommend it for the reasons that I was gone!
