Nooooo. She's just a mutt, but I like to believe she has a drop of Collies (border) blood. After all, she looks a bit like one and definitely is agile and smart. When someone asks me of here breed and I'm in joking mode, my answer is "Highland cat", You see the part of Slovenia that I live is called "Gorenjska" in translation this would be Highland.

Oh, her name is Nera (meaning black in Italian) and we saved here from a Dog shelter. Actually, my older son is the real owner, but she sees me as a head of the family. Here roll in our family is to be a sort of therapeutic dog for my son (being wee Autistic - Aspergher). She helped him very much in his lack of communication skills and to overcome very strong dog fear.

Must say, she's fantastic dog with one (big) problem; very shy and can become aggressive toward other dogs, 'cose being afraid of them. Well, who knows what was here history? It wasn't a puppy when we got her in our family. We're working on this issue and she's responsive (very smart dog).

P.S.: I believe Belgian Sheppard is very much like German Sheppard, but more in light brown colors (and maybe wee smaller and lighter). But can be very dangerous in wrong hands or as a service dog (Police, Army,...)
