Veteran's Day - The Boot Campaign
Came across this website a while back, and, personally, I think it's a great idea.
Those of us who wear combat boots with our kilts from time to time could really get behind this, I'm sure. I'd like to see a lot of kilties post pics of themselves in kilts and these boots on their website..

Just thought I'd pass this along if anybody's interested in a good pair of boots for a good cause.

A few of us may already own that style of boot... And they are quite comfortable.
I've found that most relationships work best when no one wears pants.

Yup. Mine still have a dogtag laced in them. Don't know where the other tag has gotten off to.
I wish I believed in reincarnation. Where's Charles Martel when you need him?

I ordered a pair of these...just to support the cause. I have jungle boots, but they're black. Mine are made by the same company, so I know these will be good ones as well.
Just thought if anybody was considering a good pair of desert jungle boots, it'd be nice if they could support the veterans by buying a pair from these ladies.

I believe they're made by Altama, in Georgia.

I bought a pair will and agree they are comfortable. I want my wife to take a picture of me with the boots and a kilt, but so far that hasn't happened for one reason or another. Hopefully some time soon.
Yes, they are made by Altma.

Altma. Must be a brand the Army and Air Force wear.

I think they make boots for the Marines as well. I don't know if they have contracts to supply the forces or not, but I do know a lot of Army guys buy and wear their boots. I've only got one pair from them, but I do love that one pair!
In any case, if they're great boots or not doesn't really matter to me personally...I believe in the cause and am happy to get behind it.
