I just watched it. If not for this thread, I would never have changed it to that channel, because, well, it's Oprah.

Sad that the guy was treated like this, but at least he was a good sport. I'm sure he had to sign something, so he knew what he was getting into. I've never liked Oprah anyhow so there's no love lost.

He explained that he went to a kilt store in Seattle--Utilikilts I would assume--out of curiosity. The guy talked him into trying one on and he hasn't worn pants in nine years. What's wrong with that? I think it was his sister or sister in-law who contacted the show.

I have people in my family who think it's odd, but they wouldn't write to Oprah so she could pay somebody to dress me up like a mall mannequin.

I hope he went home, threw that stupid looking suit in the trash and put his kilt back on.

Oh and right at the very end a past guest was bagging on the guy? What gives? They didn't carry on about the guy on after him who looked like he was homeless showing up in a stained t-shirt and holes in his jeans? Good gravy I hate that! She actually took the time to point the guy out again! I'm so glad her show is ending...too bad she has her own network and 24 hours to fill with stuff like this.

Okay...my rant is over. I feel better. Sorta.

I didn't waste my time. I had better things to do than watch mainstream morons make mainstream moron comments.

Joanne nominated her sister Linda and her brother-in-law Clark for a makeover because their looks aren't just outdated—they're from another century! -

Nine years ago, Clark discovered a love for a peculiar fashion item: the kilt. Now, he wears one every day—even to class, where he works as a law professor. "He has a summer kilt, a plaid kilt, a camo kilt," Joanne says. "He even has a sport kilt."

What time period are camo and Sport kilts from again? I thought those were pretty modern...

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
