Not quite. The first photo you've quoted here, where the two officers in Coatees are marching with the Colours extended in front of them are indeed wearing flag carriers. And they're on their left shoulders.
In the second picture, where the Captain is adjusting the Colours on the drums, while the Major is standing behind him with the other Colours; neither of these officers are wearing flag carriers. That white belt, over their right shoulder, is a sword carrier. You can see them on the first two officers as well.
Good eye for detail though! Most probably wouldn't have caught that. I apologise for correcting you - photo analysis and interpretation are an old habit to break. That, and I know these particular uniforms fairly well, seeing as I used to wear one...
