    Hear, hear!

I have started to reply to this thread several times, but kept aborting it. I'll go ahead and say it now, though, even at the risk of sounding like I have a weird man-crush on Robert...

Robert, I have to say you are the most handsome man I've ever seen in a kilt. You wear it with style, finesse, and you always look at-ease in it. Your choice of attire is always impeccable, and I daresay you have a perfect build for wearing the kilt. I could only wish my knees looked as bonny as yours when kilted!

I always enjoy seeing your photos, and I'm just plain envious of your wardrobe, your handsome looks, and your beautiful homestead. I love the way you create a story with the succession of photos. It's always great fun to see your photo threads, and you're an inspiration to many a kilt-wearer here, I'm sure.

    Christmas Tree

    Robert,

I always look forward to seeing your photos on our site.

The amount of snow Europe has this year is really something! Our train to Leipzig was cancelled when we were in Germany recently.

Even the "footy" had several games cancelled due to snow in the UK!

Looking forward to more photos. Stay warm!

    Take Care

    Robert

    Robert!

There is something that I find immensely handsome about that name. I am not biased just because it is my name either. haha

I would have never thought it coming from Australia but your photo makes me feel nostalgic. As you may see from my location I am in Hokkaido Japan which has a huge amount of snow. However this year it is only 0℃ even now when we should have at least a foot of snow.

The other thing is looking for a Christmas tree. Firs and conifers are introduced to Australia so taking them is quite legal. It is like a combination of Hokkaido weather and Australian culture wrapped into one experience. I am quite envious.

I cannot express my gratitude at any and all pictures that you post. They are all amazing and a joy to look at. *BTW I have made this pic I quoted as my backgound picture because it reminds me that a gentleman both attacks all tasks with vigour and does it dressed with respectability.

Thanks again and excuse my rambling.

    Robert

Great photos, Robert, I agree with Tobus, you are an inspiration to all us kilt-wearers indeed, not only for wearing of the kilt but for photographing the kilt in beautiful settings such as you do. Your photos are how I feel that I look when I'm in my kilt even though that may not be reality. Certain activities seem best kilted such as hiking and certainly wielding an axe. I too chop wood whilst kilted (see Woodsman's woodpile in my avatar) and the freedom of movement feels natural. Also it just looks cool to hold an axe with a kilt. I think your (wood chopping) photo should be the photo of the month. In your earlier photos the red of your tree hunting kilt looks fitting in the snow covered, evergreen landscape.

    Great photos!

    What a stunning landscape (/house/family)!

I miss mountains! (Although we did have some snow already this winter).

Totally jealous... but still wouldn't mind if you post more... ;)

    Cheers,

    Michael

My friend what can I say that hasn't already been said. Your photos show a life that most would love to live. Beautiful home and a more beautiful family. Cheers!
