This is my favourite. It was a gift from the lovely Vmac a couple of years ago and it is a nice, fitted jacket but with loose enough sleeves that I can do as much work as I need to during the day.
Very nice Arlen, thanks for sharing this pic. You've given me a good idea with the way your jacket is fitted in the body but looser in the sleeve.
I think I could get my jacket altered in the body while leaving the sleeves for the same effect! That's kind of the best of both worlds: a tailored look but enough room to move
What can you tell us about the waistcoat you're wearing?

I just yesterday scanned this old photo from the 1980s and I thought of this thread.
The jacket is a heavy Harris Tweed, bought by a friend's father in Scotland around 1946 or thereabouts. It happened to fit me. The photo was done for a local Highland Outfitter to demonstrate Day Dress.
