I do not yet have an 8m military box pleat (late January!) but have been told that they are more finicky, and I've seen evidence of this on those I've seen in action, but my 4m Keltoi box pleats are really easy to care for. I wear them at work, where I am in and out of chairs all day, and the only part that seems to show any creasing is at the front, which hangs out overnight if dampened just a bit.
