My friend is teaching a class in the Boston area (Somerville, MA) for three Tuesday nights (2 hours per class). Thje class meets on January 4, 11, 18th from 7-9pm. Class will cover patterning, how to cut, pleat and make a kilt "on the sett." Bring your own material and save the $50 materials fee- or a 10 oz 100% Italian wool fashion tartan fabric (non "officia pattern) can be provided for the materials fee.

Make a kilt in time for a Burn's Supper. Class is sponsored through the Artisan's Asylum (maker, hacker co-op) and they have 10 sewing machines, tables, irons, etc... at the class space.
