I made this kilt from a light weight Cotton print fabric by Zig Zane provide by the customer.
I first cut the fabric into sections width-wise. This was due to a couple of reasons. The Customer asked for the pattern to be horizontal and the pattern ran width-wise.
This is hand printed fabric so the pattern is not as exact as that done on a large printing machine. This caused slight variations in the pattern so I could not align up a 'Sett'.
The fabric is also very light. About 4 - 4.5 oz. Perfect for Hawaii where this customer lives.
This kilt has 2 Side Slash Pockets.
Steve,
There be a reason they call you Wizard! Love this kilt! Something to put on my "wish" list.
