Non-traditional Sporrans

Non-traditional sporrans, or non-sporran sporrans.

With so many casual kilts being worn, has anyone considered something other than a sporran to sit in front of your kilt? Or a sporran made from something other than leather? Such as canvas, denim etc.

Jerry @ Stillwater Kilts (a forum advertiser) has a ballistic nylon sporran.
Other than that, I can't really think of any non traditional materials being used in production.

I personally prefer leather.
