New from Woodford, Queensland, Australia
Happy New Year to all.
I have been involved with kilt wearing on and off since 1960 when I became a member of the Rockhampton Qld pipe band and a member there until 1968. No chance after that until 2004 when I finally found our family tartan as a part of the Davidson clan. Since 2006 I have been able to wear it on and off benig involved in scottiswh country dancing here.

Thanks Jock for your welcome. While you battle the cold here we are battling floods covering an area bigger than Germany and France throughout Queensland. Luckily I am above any flood levels and safe but I can't say the same for my home town Rockhampton that is currently 1/4 submerged.

Yes indeed, we have been watching the growing disaster on the news with dismay. As usual Australia can do disasters on a grand scale! Our hearts go out to those affected.
