This is my Grandmother and Grandfather.
He died in 1956 so this obviously is some time before that.
Born in Glasgow but when he came to America he wanted to be known as an American and not a Scottish Immigrant.
Getting him into the kilt was like pulling teeth for my Grandmother.
I guess this picture shows both his reluctance and apparent sense of humor.
It looks like they wore all the tartan they could find around the house.
Gramps kilted backwards and note the "sporran".
I'm not sure if that's his day wear or evening wear wisk broom.
