    BINGO! I was hunting pheasants on eastern Montana range. Stopped and stood, looking at the vista, and for some reason I looked down and between my feet was this bison horn. No telling how many years the horn had baked in the sun. A long time, it would appear.

    All right! Still a few brain cells firing in sequence!

    No free-range bison in Mother's old neck of the woods (outside Laramie WY) so I don't believe I've seen one of those in the flesh, so to speak. Great looking piece, I can just see what Georgia O'Keefe might have done with it.
