I also had my eye on the prize kilt, but my wife decided against sending money overseas – she reckoned it would be a waste.
And that was after I pointed out that it would cost less per month (if I took a $5 ticket each month) than her Lotto tickets, which have never won her anything more than three figures (of South African money, that is).
Maybe I will have better luck this year – I expect Matt will have a similar raffle again, and then there is Nick Fiddes’s Scotweb promotion, too.
