As others have pointed out before me, this chap is a little off his rocker.
Nobody in the Bible wore trousers.
There was one individual in the whole of Israel who had to wear underpants, and that was the High Priest. Nobody else was required to, and I greatly doubt that anyone else dared to, or cared to.

I do want to take issue with Nighthawk, though, where he says alcohol is sinful. Actually, while Proverbs has a warning for those who are too fond of their beer and their wine, the drinking of either is specifically not condemned in Scripture.
Paul wrote to Timothy that he should take a little wine for his stomach’s sake, and the drinking of wine is a tradition from Judaism (in the seder meal) that has been carried through into Christianity (in the eucharist).
The only scripture that condemns alcohol is the Qur’an.

As for keeping cats, in the Middle Ages, only witches (pagans, that is) kept them. They used them for divination. Christians generally did not keep cats.
In South Africa today, black people still (by and large) don’t keep cats.
But there is no scriptural command about them, and I have had a cat in the house (at least one) since I was first married. We always kept them when I was a kid, too.

Thank you, Hugh, for dropping Mr Stewart a line. But I doubt that he will pay any attention to what you say on the matter.
There are people who campaign against Harry Potter on the grounds that it teaches devil-worship. This was the first thing I checked when I read the first Potter book. I have enjoyed every one of them, and have seen all but the latest Potter movie. No devil-worship there at all. In fact, no real witchcraft either.
    Let’s just ignore the guy.
    Shalom,
    Mike
