It is mentioned. As "Hades" and a "lake of fire" as I recall. Also I think "Sheol" was used as a term for a damnable grave. And you are right, people who twist scripture to support thier own views rather than accept it for what it is (in context mind you, always in context) are downright disgusting. And the Bible says they are false teachers. Wonder what he'd say to that? Unfortunately he's probably to delusional to care.

P.S. I also rather like CDNSushi's thought about not letting Satan take up too much of our mental energy. Best to be aware he exists and then tell him to unkindly GO to hell. Frees up time for "those good and noble things."
