Over time, I've just gotten used to it, especially with all the hiking I do kilted. The only time it really bothers me now is if I'm walking into the wind. The wind will push the front aprons so that they fold between my knees, and it just feels a bit awkward. Plus the canvas-like duck cloth makes a stupid swishing sound as I walk when it's doing that.
