    I sort of remember that. I thought they were in New Jersey and related to pipe bands. This is what I came up with in Google. Is it what you wanted?

    Just curious. Does when does one use 3 or 5 buttons? I know this has been covered here before. I've both regulation doublet and simple tweed jackets.

    It's my understanding the three button waistcoat is for eveningwear with the bowtie, and the five button is for daywear.

    I suppose there are exceptions, but in general that is what I have read here on the forum.
