Try Matt Newsome at that Tartan Museum. Local, and a top quality product. That said, because tartan waistcoats really have to be custom made, they are not exactly cheap, whether made in the USA or elsewhere. I'd expect to spend about $200 for a quality waistcoat.

Aye, he is a good friend, as well as my instructor. A good man. He is getting back into the insurance biz. We have been working on a tune that Seargeant specifically wrote for him, very pleased with it.
