Just ordered my second kilt
I finally pulled the trigger and ordered my second kilt. I went with the Navy (Edzell) tartan. I also ordered my sons firstkilt as well! Ever since I got my first kilt, he has asked when he would get his. So, now we jones together!
I realize that "No pictures means it didn't happen", so I will get pictures here as soon as I can.

Where did you order from? Some tailors don't have Edzell listed yet it seems to be available.

I know it's a difficult tartan to find available. I actually went with a sportkilt. I wanted something that could be more a "beater" kilt. I also liked that I could get matching for my son at a low price. I plan to have a Navy edzell wool kilt made when I save up a few more pennies.
My only other kilt is a full 8 yard "tank". It's pretty unique so I plan to use it for nicer occasions. I'll wear my tank TO the games, I'll wear the sportkilt if I'm IN the games...

So far, so good. I like the idea of something more casual. I REALLY love my kilt, I also want to wear it while working around the house/yard or other such stuff that may not be so friendly to my expensive wool kilt.

I know the feeling of the problem of finding Edzell. My first two are SportKilts which was a great way to go but now I have a wool addiction. I'm looking at a few: Black Watch, Edzell, Firefighter Memorial, NFFF Firefighter Memorial, California, South Carolina, X Marks. So far I only have three: a wool Black Watch from Still Water and NFFF Memorial and Edzell from SK.

That is quite the list of desired kilts! I am hoping to someday get a wool Navy Edzell and possibly a Michigan Up North (wool also). My wife and I a likely to retire to South Carolina after the Navy...so who knows. For now, however, I think I'm good with a good wool kilt and my "working" kilt that is hopefully coming sooner than later.

I assume you do, but in case you don't know about this: http://www.strathmorewoollen.co.uk/m...&cat=31&page=2 They happen to be sold out right now, but should be restocked next month.

Welcome to the addiction!
Just wait until you start collecting a small warehouse full of accessories!
