Tell ya what, EB...you do the Lancashire Cheese Trail and I'll do my semi-anuual Bacon Double Cheeseburger tour of Southeastern Minnesota and we can add our photo essays to the rich store of pictorial resources here.
I would very much be interested in the Cheese Trail, though...sounds like a good thing and it might help as a guide to whatever UK cheese we can find here in Chicago (or wherever in the USA). I'd imagine that. like me, most of us have heard of the famous cheeses (or those with funny names) but could use an education on the less notorious ones.

...by the way, recent tests have shown that, in spite of my horrible diet, I have close to perfect cholesterol levels, so bring on the fromage!
