    Liquid Fire into Bronze Sword

In asking for advice for my Scotland trip I mentioned that I was attending a Bronze Sword Workshop in Cornwall and a couple of people expressed an interest in that. So when the guy who runs the workshop sent me this clip I thought I would share it.

This is Neil Burridge, an expert on bronze swords, casting a bronze sword with a BBC crew for an upcoming series. Neil earns his living casting and selling bronze swords, probably the only man in the world who does that for a living. It is difficult work, casting a bronze sword using authentic methods and the BBC did an excellent job filming the process.

    Anyway, enjoy!

Having read Ewart Oakeshott on the evolution of the sword, and having worked for a time in a small foundry/smithy casting aluminum and brass, this was absolutely fascinating to me. Thanks for posting it!

Great stuff! I enjoyed that host during the History of Scotland series. Hopefully I'll be able to view this new on here in the States.
