Good point. That is a consideration. I will admit that my BK Country Sporran doesn't have the largest opening. I could measure it, but I can't get to it without waking a flu-bitten wife, and I'm kinda fond her when she isn't Cranky.
Mine is big enough to reach into pretty comfortably, but I don't have the biggest hands out there. To put it in perspective, I wear a large work glove or mechanics glove and I can still pull things out of it easily. Keep in mind though, I'm talking about normal sizes of sporran-filling items such as wallet, keys, cell-phone, digital camera, chew can, microwave burritos, etc. A softball would drop right in, but I might have to do some fancy maneuvering to get it out. If I wore an XL glove, I think it would still work for me, but not as well. 2XL...fuggettabouit. It's not perfect, but for many average guys it's a good combo of durable, pretty, spacious and affordable.
I have the BK Country, but it looks like the Inverness might be a little bigger in the top. An email to Jerry or Rocky would probably get the measurements if that's a concern.
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.
