Yes indeedy!!
I'm addicted yes, and I was ever since I got my first practice chanter back in 1974.
I went through a period, while I was working at a Highland Outfitter in the 1980s and could get things at cost, that I went on a crazy buying spree and had loads of jackets and sporrans etc etc.
Then in the 1990s I pared down to a piper's basic kit: one kilt, one sporran, one black Argyll jacket, one Glengarry, one pair of white hose
Joining Xmarks a couple years ago, unfortunately, has brought on a relapse of my old 1980's HDAD (Highland Dress Aquisition Disorder).
Suddenly I just had to have a Lovat tweed day jacket. Again. And a charcoal grey jacket. And ornate shooting socks. And an Isle of Skye kilt.
It's seeing all the photos of how great these things look!
But I do try to keep things at a minimum, and everything of high quality.
