Leather Jackets with Leather Kilts

now obviously cultures vary as do their tastes but rarely seen in the UK is anyone matching denim jacket with jeans.. its just denim overload and people tend to avoid doing it.

Just thought I might be missing some subtle, secret message by wearing all denim...lol...it pays to know is you are sending a 'message' especially an unintended one.

I think the green kilt and brown jacket looks fine, whatever the material, but similar tones in the same colour would not work as well, hence denim overload.
However no one says that about traditional suits do they? How about blue pin striped trousers with a brown pin striped jacket?

Just a note. As far as I understand "Dittos" (parts of a suite in the same fabric) were introduced mid 19th century. It must be what one is accustomed to seeing. I personally avoid matching the kilt and upper body wear to that extent. Now you have me asking myself why.
