I'm in Topeka. I have a Utilikilt and am starting a XKilt tomorrow.

I live in Hutch, i know once a year they do the highland games in McPhearson, and then there is Terra Fest at Heartland up by Tonganoxie, KS which is where i compete when I get the chance. Starting an Xkilt tomorrow, other than that I have several that are just fabric i hand pleat and belt.

Just moved to Lawrence and would love to meet some people. Lets make a kilt night happen! I suggest here in Lawrence if that would be possible. There is a great brewery downtown and the city is very kilt friendly.

I will be traveling to Kansas City around July 7...if there is something that Friday or weekend, I would be "willing" to bring my kilt

I haven't had a chance yet to wear my kilt in public. Its either been freezing or raining like crazy or both since I got it, lol. Topeka would be closer for me but the one pub I went in there became a combo sports bar and ruined the atmosphere. I probably wouldn't drink if I went but I might be able to go sometime if I'm free and can afford it but i'll have to just see how the summer plays out. My kid has a busy summer already and she's keeping me hopping.

I'm trying to plan a camp out for some of my fellow living historians at Pomona lake this summer so if nothing else I can at least extend an invite to anyone that wants to drop by and hang out with us when we decide on a date. I have no doubt a few of us will be wearing kilts.
